Xylo oligosaccharides (XOS) are super prebiotics and are obtained by hydrolysis of corncob. XOS does not cause glycemia or fat accumulation, thanks to its almost zero calorie content. XOS enters the large intestine unmodified and is primarily used by Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli.
